Warehouse Management System (WMS) Coordinator
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Working with the Inventory specialists to ensure that the warehouse has sufficient components to meet all internal and external customer needs.
- Investigating cycle count adjustments (gains/losses)
- Working with Receiving Department/Engineering Change Coordinator to manage prototype material.
- Leading cycle counters and assists in warehouse inventory audits.
- Assisting in developing and ensuring processes to avoid low stock and overstock are adhered to.
- Analyzing inventory issues caused through adjustments and transfers and report to supervision.
- Report all found inventory discrepancies to supervision with fact-based analysis.
- Work in WMS module of SAP
- Before, during, and after implementation, assist in conducting WMS user training across various departments in the Warehouse.
- Once implemented, own the Warehouse Management System to keep fully optimized, adding new part numbers, etc.
- Assist in continuous improvement analysis, to improve critical functions within SAP, using WMS.
REQUIREMENTS PROFILE:
Professional Background / Basic Qualifications / Work Experience:
- 1-3 years utilizing Warehouse Management Systems required.
- 2 years of college
- Prior experience with SAP (MM module) highly desirable
- Must have a minimum of two years relevant work experience.
- Prior manufacturing (automotive) experience highly desirable
- Understanding of inventory gains, losses, and cycle counting
Technical Expertise:
- Strong understanding of inventory control processes
