Transmission Teardown and Repair Technician – Will Train – Multiple Shifts
Position duties:
- Following work instructions, will tear down, analyze and re-build transmissions in a production environment.
- Test transmission units
- Tag and scrap units, if necessary
- Follow safety standards
- Enter and retrieve information in a computer system
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of related experience (this includes work experience, courses in automotive repair, OR automotive repair hobbies)
- High School diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to read technical work instructions
- Ability to follow instructions
- Team player with a positive attitude!
Shift Availability – we currently have 4 shifts available:
Afternoons: Monday – Friday 3:30 p.m. to midnight, plus rotating Sundays (paid at double-time)
Wednesday – Saturday 5:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., plus rotating Sundays (paid at double-time)
Split Shift: Monday/Tuesday 5:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., then Friday/Saturday 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., plus rotating Sundays (paid at double-time)
Midnights: Monday – Friday 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., please rotating Sundays (paid at double-time)
Compensation:
- This position starts at $18.50 to $19.00/hour, with regular pay increases
- Shift premium pay for afternoon and overnight shifts
